Entry form
You are invited to participate in the MWA exhibition which will be held during the 1999 conference in Bloomington, Indiana, at the School of Fine Arts Gallery at Indiana University. The exhibition is open to all MWA members who will be attending the conference. All entries must be executed by the entrant and must not have been shown at a previous Midwest conference. "Reflections and Projections" is non-juried for entry but will be judged for awards once the exhibit is installed.
Guidelines
We look forward to exhibiting your work in Bloomington. We hope that you will take risks and push your creative boundaries while designing and fabricating your art for this show.

Guild and Study Group Exhibits Entry form
Join us at Midwest 1999 for our colorful exhibit titled "Cherishing the Past and Challenging the Future". Help us reflect on the richness of our creative heritage and inspire us with your projections of future challenges as we prepare to enter a new millennium. The MWA Guild and Study Group Exhibit traditionally has been a source of inspiration, education and creativity. It is a primary source for showing cooperation and ingenuity among Guild and Study Group members.
To Enter - Send the appropriate entry form found in this booklet, your check for $15.00 and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Andrea Barber; 6810 N. Showers Road; Bloomington, IN 47408. All details will be mailed to you. Entry is due June 15.
Judging - Our judges are Sallie Guy and Vicki Tardy, both nationally-known fiber artists. Judging will be based on: content in relation to theme, originality of display, use of basic design principles and quality of craftsmanship.
Awards - First Place: $100. Second Place: $75. Third place: $50, plus various other awards. In addition, there will be a drawing of the Guilds and/or Study Groups who participate. The award of $100, contributed by MWA, Inc., is to be used for group enrichment programs.

The Gallery in the School of Fine Arts Building at Indiana University will feature recent works of our conference speakers and teachers. Come and view the wide variety of textile art that is representative of their talents.
