Registration and Event entries
The conference registration form is on the web site as are the other event entry forms. They will each display when you click on the highlighted sections below if you have the Acrobat pdf file reader on your computer. You will also be able to print the forms from our web site. If the form does not display when you click on its name below, you will need to install the pdf file reader on your computer. The Acrobat Reader program for pdf files is necessary for your computer to read the file. The reader is a small, free program which can be downloaded from Adobe. Conference Registration


Registration form information

It is necessary for each attendee to complete the registration form, located on pages 11-12 in the conference booklet or printed from the web site. At the top of the form are listed 6 types of registration. Be sure to check the appropriate box. Also, the double occupancy room rate is the rate for each occupant.

The $25.00 Guest Registration does not include tour fees or merchandise fees. Guests may attend all other activities and events with the exception of workshops and seminars.

Inform us of special food needs and physical limitations to ensure your comfort. We will attempt to address your needs.

General information for all classes

You must be a member of MWA to attend class sessions. You may join by including a $2 membership fee as indicated on the registration form.

Supplies on the workshop and session descriptions refers to what each student should bring to class.

Fee refers to money students pay directly to the instructor for materials the instructor provides.

Ability levels - Weaving

  • Beginner: Can dress a loom; read a draft; weave tabby and twill.
  • Intermediate: Can prepare a drawdown and is familiar with several weaving techniques.
  • Advanced: Is familiar with many techniques and understands many weaving structures.
Ability Levels - Spinning
  • Beginning: Can use a wheel and spin a fiber to produce both singles and plied yarns.
  • Intermediate: Is able to spin a consistent diameter fine, medium and heavy yarn.
  • Advanced: Can spin any dimension of thread with many fibers.
Merchandise

Conference merchandise may be ordered on the registration form. The following merchandise is available:

  • Mugs: 11-oz. white ceramic, microwave and dishwasher safe with the 3-color Reflections & Projections logo, shown on the front cover of this book.
  • Pins:1" x 1/2" four-color enamel with logo.
  • T-shirts:100% white cotton with the 3-color logo.
