S106 BOGOLAN FINI (MUD CLOTH)
Judy tries to see the world
from different angles as she goes about her business of raising three teenage
sons. Her other business of fiber work lends itself to the expression of
those different angles. Starting with a loom weaving background, she includes
basketry, felting, spinning, dyeing, bogolan fini (mud cloth), paper making
and marbling in her repertoire of media and techniques. Judy has been an
instructor and exhibitor of her many fiber interests for the past 19 years.
She is the immediate past president of the Weavers Guild of Greater Cincinnati,
Inc., the co-planner of the annual Midwest Basketry Focus conference and
the General Chair for Convergence 2000, Cincinnati.
