M507 IN VEST IN FELT

Sarah Noggle
Nashville, Indiana

Sarah has been actively involved in the fiber arts field for 12 years. She is a weaver and knitter and teaches spinning and felting for the Indiana State Parks System, Elder Hostel, Indianapolis Children’s Museum and Yarns Unlimited. She also has worked with a local girl scout troop and particularly enjoys teaching mentally handicapped women of all ages. She has taught numerous workshops around the state. She was commissioned to design and weave rag rugs for the Artist Colony Inn in Nashville, Indiana. She lives with her family, dogs, cats and a rabbit named “Reknitffuruffletinker” in Brown County, Indiana.




M507 IN VEST IN FELT
Saturday Maxi Sessions, 9:00 – 11:30 AM and 2:00 – 4:30 PM

Participants will make and surface design a piece of felt that will be incorporated into a knitted or woven vest. Vest patterns will be discussed and vests will be started to be finished at home. Knitting and/or weaving experience is necessary for finishing the vest or you could have someone else finish it after you felt and surface design it.

Supplies: Scissors; old towel(s); rubber gloves; sizes 7, 8, or 10 knitting needle (depends on the weight you want on your vest).
Fee: All materials will be furnished for maximum of $30
